International Academic Achievement by Our Department Faculty Member Dr. Büşra Perihan Yücel
Our department faculty member, Dr. Büşra Perihan Yücel, has been selected for the “International Ambassador” Program conducted by the Biochemical Society.
The Biochemical Society International Ambassador Program aims to strengthen international scientific communication in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biosciences, enhance interaction among early-career researchers, provide support for scientific meetings, courses, and training activities, and promote global academic collaborations.
Following the completion of her PhD and postdoctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry at University of Bristol, Dr. Yücel continues her research at the same institution as an Honorary Research Associate. She also serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering. Her research primarily focuses on molecular neuroscience and cellular signaling mechanisms.
