The Genetics and Science Society’s ÜNİDES Project Has Been Approved
The project titled “Women Power in Science: Awareness and Inspiration Meetings,” prepared by the Genetics and Science Society, has been awarded support within the scope of the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES).
Within the scope of the project, female academics and engineers working in the fields of science and engineering will be brought together with students. During the events, the speakers will share their academic and professional career journeys, fields of study, challenges they have faced, and their achievements with the participants.
The aim of the project “Women Power in Science: Awareness and Inspiration Meetings” is to raise awareness among students, draw attention to the representation of women in science, and inspire young individuals. At the same time, it seeks to contribute to students’ career planning and provide them with opportunities to meet role models. Through this project, the Genetics and Science Society continues to contribute to students’ academic development while making women’s power in science more visible and carrying out inspiring initiatives.
