Dr. Esmahan Durmaz a faculty member of our department has been appointed as an editor for the journal JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments)

Dr. Durmaz has been selected as one of the editors of the methodological collection titled “Methodological Advances in Retinal Biology and Disease.” This collection is a distinguished scientific platform that brings together innovative experimental approaches, up-to-date methodologies, and research models used in the field of retinal biology and retinal diseases.

JoVE is a visual methods–focused scientific journal that aims to enhance experimental reproducibility by presenting research protocols through video demonstrations and step-by-step written formats. In this way, it provides advanced methodological contributions to both basic science and clinical applications in retinal research.

Serving as an editor for this prestigious collection requires internationally recognized scientific leadership and expertise in the field.
