Dr. Enes Durgut Appointed as Guest Editor for JoVE Special Issue

Dr. Enes Durgut, a faculty member of the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering, has been appointed as a Guest Editor for a forthcoming special issue of the prestigious scientific video journal, Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE). The special issue, titled "High Internal Phase Emulsions: Formulation, Characterization, and Applications", will focus on the preparation, characterization, and diverse applications of high internal phase emulsions (HIPEs).

This curated collection aims to highlight recent methodologies in areas such as emulsion-templated porous polymers, tissue engineering, drug delivery, and 3D printing. Dr. Durgut is responsible for defining the scope of the collection and inviting leading researchers in the field to contribute.

Contributions will take the form of peer-reviewed video articles that visually present cutting-edge experimental methods.

This editorial role reflects both Dr. Durgut’s academic expertise and the growing international recognition of our department. We extend our sincere congratulations to Dr. Durgut and wish him continued success in his scholarly endeavors.
